Return the Song, Artist and Lyrics

Hi Everybody, thank you so much for your input! It seems that most, if not everybody would like to see me mix things up. So sometimes I’ll give the artist and song, and sometimes you can guess the artist and song along with the lyrics.
And I will call this “Return the …” with the “…” being whatever you have to guess that day. It is a play on the “Return” from my web site title. There was a good suggestion of “Remember That Song”, which I kind of like. So I may change it to that.

Today, can you name the Song and Artist, and finish the lyric. I’m sorry if this is too easy. I’m still getting the feel of this. There will be some more difficult ones coming.

Ah, can’t you see me standin’ here
I got my back against the record machine
I ain’t the _____ ____ ______ ____

Here are the answers from the last episode:

Love is like a bomb, baby, c’mon get it on
Livin’ like a lover with a radar phone
Lookin’ like a tramp, like a video vamp
Demolition woman, can I be your man?

Pour Some Sugar On Me by Def Leppard

Tell Her About It by Billy Joel

Tell her about it, tell her everything you feel
Give her every reason to accept that you’re for real
Tell her about it, tell her All Your Crazy Dreams

Just a small town girl, livin’ in a lonely world
She took the midnight train goin’ anywhere
Just a city boy, Born and Raised in South Detroit

Don’t Stop Believin’ by Journey

And as usual, I am still up for suggestions and comments.

  1. OK, honestly, I’m doing this without looking it up.

“Jump” by Van Halen. Now let me think of the lyrics…

    (15 minutes later)

    “I ain’t the worst that you’ve seen”

Whew…thought I was going to have to get out the LP for a moment. And now all the lyrics are flooding my head and the tune is stuck in there for the rest of the night. Could be worse, that’s for sure.
