Last Question: What movie starred Elisabeth Shue as “Chris Parker,” a character that sang the blues?

Answer: Adventures in Babysitting

After being detained by car thieves, Chris (Elisabeth Shue) and the kids escape. But not before Daryl (Rent‘s Anthony Rapp) finds a Playboy magazine and steals it, not knowing that it contains incriminating evidence against the thieves.

The thieves give chase, and Chris and the kids stumble into a Blues club, where Blues legend, Albert Collins says, “Nobody leaves this place without singing the blues.” :

  1. Answer: “I Heard It Through The Grapevine.”

Surprised I never saw “Adventures In Babysitting.” One of those movies I never got around to renting. I did like Elisabeth Shue in “Cocktail” and “Soapdish,” though.

    1. You got the answer, Jim!

I haven’t seen “Adventures In Babysitting” in a really long time. My younger sister loved that movie. When I saw it for the first time, I was expecting it to be a teen girl movie, but I was pleasantly surprised! I remember there being a lot of action in it, and it was also funny. Definitely worth checking out if you get the chance.
