“The Message” by Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five
Oh yeah, break out the cardboard!! Yes, in my very early teens I was very much caught in the wave of Break Dancing. I had the parachute pants and everything. My friends and I would throw down some cardboard, and then throw down some break dancing moves. I could spin really well on the cardboard. I also did the worm – forwards and backwards. We even threw in some moonwalking for good measure.
“The Message” was one of the only songs we had on tape that we could break dance to. Other than that, we would have to play the radio, and hope that some other rap song or dance song would come on.

Ah, for the days when rap music was music…and listenable. I liked that song.
I’m not much of a dancer, but I could move to “Easy Lover.”
Although, I probably looked more like Phil Collins than Philip Bailey.
Never pegged you as a break dancer! I could almost moonwalk, but that was it.
You know who I always wanted to dance like? Morris Day:

Yeah, that break dancing was only a very quick phase – probably less than a year. I like your song choice! And your right about Morris Day too. That guy could move!
