Remember That Song – 5/16/18

Can you name the artist and song:

Whenever dark has fallen
You know the spirit of the party starts to come alive
Until the day is dawning
You can throw out all your blues and hit the city lights

Last Song: “Take Me Home Tonight” by Eddie Money from Can’t Hold Back (1986)

Great job sweetpurplejune, UC HOOPS (@UCHOOPS) and Jim (@JimVilk)!!!

With all the power you’re releasing
It isn’t safe to walk the city streets alone
Anticipation’s running through me
Let’s find the key and turn this engine on

  1. I wasn’t familiar with the first few notes until I heard the ” take me home tonight” notes, and I was like, Oh, yeah, that sounds familiar. I like the song.

    1. Yes, it’s a fun song. That’s Ronnie Spector that’s singing with Eddie Money. She was in the 60s girl group, The Ronettes. They sang that old song, “Be My Baby”.
