Well, there are no upsets here. Unsurprisingly, the finalists in this year’s tournament come from Purple Rain. “When Doves Cry” and “Purple Rain” are not only 2 of the most iconic Prince songs, but they are both iconic songs of the ’80s. Voting will be open until Tuesday, April 2. You can vote on Twitter, the Facebook page, and Facebook group. So far, most of the voting has been done on Twitter. But, you can vote in all four places if you’d like.

Reverend Shaw Moore: [discussing Ariel] We’re losing her, Vi. Don’t you see that?
Vi Moore: No. I see you chasing after her and I see her running from you.
Reverend Shaw Moore: She’s become so willful, so obstinate.
Vi Moore: She’s like her father. The two of you were so wonderful once. You had so much to talk about. I was almost jealous.
Reverend Shaw Moore: It’s not as if we don’t talk. It’s just that sometimes people run out of things to say.
Vi Moore: Shaw, it’s 20 years now I’ve been a minister’s wife. And I’ve been quiet, supportive, unobtrusive and after 20 years I still think you’re a wonderful, a wonderful preacher. You can lift a congregation up so high they have to look down to see heaven. But it’s the one to one where you need a little work.
Happy 73rd birthday to Dianne Wiest!!!

Well, now we’re getting to the nitty gritty. We have reached the Final Four! And, not surprisingly, 3 of the 4 songs are from the Purple Rain soundtrack. You can vote on Twitter, the Facebook page, and Facebook group. Voting ends on Friday, March 29 around noon eastern time. These should be a couple of close matchups to see who will face off in the finals.
