Can you name the artist and song:
First time was a great time
Second time was a blast
Third time I fell in love
Now I hope it lasts
Last Song: “Working My Way Back To You/Forgive Me, Girl” by The Spinners from Dancin’ and Lovin’ (1980)
Great job sweetpurplejune, Guy Who Still Thinks the 80s Were 10 Years Ago (@russmaloney), and Erwin (@erwin_green)!!!
When you were so in love with me
I played around like I was free
Thought I could have my cake and eat it, too
But how I cried over losing you
New Kids on the Block: “The Right Stuff”
Omg, I was SO in love with these guys! It’s extra embarrassing because I was beyond the rational age for such an obsession — I was in college! LOL Years later, when I was mature enough to look back with semi-shame, my brother-in-law got me good. He works for a television station, and Jordan Knight came in for an interview. My BIL had Jordan sign a shirt to me that said, “You’ve got the right stuff, Donna!” Hahaha! I about died! I’m even older now, so I have a good laugh over it now whenever it comes up.

OMG, That’s so freaking awesome!! I lot of people loved them. They grew up about an hour from me. I still haven’t been to a Wahlbergers yet though.
Around 2000, my ex who I was with at the time had won tickets to the local pop radio station’s birthday bash that had about 10 acts. One of them was Joey McIntyre. He was actually pretty good! But, Lionel Richie stole the show. And then Pink closed it out, and it was just after she released her first album. I could tell she was going to be a star. But, that show was my closest brush with NKOTB. Lol!

That’s so cool — I’ve often wondered about their solo performances! So you must be in the Boston area? I envy you! No Wahlburgers for me yet, either, but as soon as I get the chance I’m going. LOL

Lol! Yes, I’m in Rhode Island. I’m about an hour from Boston. I almost went to a Wahlburgers when I was in Atlanta. I was going to a Braves game, and there’s a restaurant in the same complex as the park. But, the line was too long. One of these days! Did you watch the Wahlburgers show?

No, I didn’t even know there was one! Haha! I love pretty much every movie of Mark’s, but I don’t follow much other than that. I’m too busy obsessing on Benjamin Orr and The Cars. ❤
