The Swatch watch was not only a watch. It was quite the fashion trend of the mid 80s. These watches had all different kinds of watch faces as well as wrist bands. People would even wear more than one at the same time. There were even some types of Swatches that you could attach directly to your clothing. They were even used to tie your hair into a ponytail.
Not only was the Swatch an accessory, but it was an accessory that had accessories! You could get a guard to put over the face. The faces and bands could also be interchangeable with other Swatches. The Swatch could be bought at a very low price, so this also helped with its popularity. The colors and designs were perfect for our beloved 80s.
