Pat Benatar and her husband/guitarist Neil Giraldo will be on Private Sessions on A&E this Sunday, October 17 at 9am/8am Central. They will discuss how MTV changed their lives, sexism in the music industry, and their 30 year personal and musical relationship. And, they will be playing unplugged performances of Love Is a Battlefield,” “We Belong,” “You Better Run,” “Let’s Stay Together,” and “I Don’t Want to Be Your Friend.”
Blondie is going to appear on A&E’s Private Sessions this coming Sunday October 10 at 9AM / 8c. On this episode, Blondie will debut two new songs off of their upcoming release Panic of Girls. They will play some of their classics as well.
As I said in my article announcing the Judas Priest episode, this is an excellent show for music lovers. Lynn Hoffman is an excellent interviewer, and the artists usually have a great song selection. I know they will at least be playing Heart of Glass and Call Me.
Here is a look behind the scenes of the upcoming episode:
’80s metal band, Judas Priest, will appear on Private Sessions on A&E this Sunday (8/8/10) at 9:00 am Eastern. Lead singer, Rob Halford will be interviewed by host Lynn Hoffman about life on the road, metal therapy and the new, 30th anniversary edition of Priest’s 1980 classic, British Steel. The entire band also will perform some of their most famous songs – “You’ve Got Another Thing Comin’,” “Breaking the Law,” “Living After Midnight” and “Freewheel Burning.”
I definitely recommend this show. There are often ’80s bands/singers on this show. Lynn is an excellent interviewer, and the songs are usually good. I have even watched some bands that I had no interest in, and they are still great episodes. If you don’t like the music, you can just skip the performances, and watch the interviews.
