Answer: Thundercats
ThunderCats originally ran from 1985-1989. It followed the adventures of a group of cat-like humanoid aliens. They were led by Lion-O, and included Cheetara, Panthro, Tygra, WilyKit and WilyKat, and Snarf. They battled against Mumm-Ra and the mutants of Plun-Darr. The show was very popular, and had a line of action figures, board games and video games. They even had their own Burger King meal:
And if you started noticing the ThunderCats emblem on t-shirts in the mid 1990’s and 2000s, you weren’t going crazy. A reto-spurt had started. And now a new series of the show airs on The Cartoon Network.
