Michael Carrington: Hello?
Stephanie Zinone: Hi.
Michael Carrington: I wanted to ask you if you’re free after school today.
Stephanie Zinone: Yeah. I’m free every day. It’s in the Constitution.
Happy 58th Birthday to Michelle Pfeiffer!!!

I frakkin’ LOVE this movie! I saw it as little kid, even before I saw Grease 1, and I was immediately smitten by Michelle. But, really, this is pretty much a superhero movie (with “Cool Rider” being the hero), that’s probably why it resonated with me so much.

I may have actually seen this one first too! It was on cable tv all the time when I first got cable. I do love the music in it, especially “Cool Rider”. I never thought of him as a super hero, but now that you say it, it makes perfect sense! That’s so awesome!

The superhero parallel was so obvious. Remember, at one point, he tries to talk to the girl and tell her who is, and asked if she’s ever read a Superman comic?

I haven’t seen it in 30 years. I’ll have to rectify that!

Perhaps she will get a cool rider for her birthday this year. I remember this being on HBO every week for about a year straight when I was a kid. I also saw the sequl long before I saw the original.

Same here! As a matter of fact, I didn’t even know about Olivia Newton-John at all until “Physical” came out. And I probably did not hear about Grease until Grease 2 came out. I haven’t seen Grease 2 in many years though. I have posted some of the songs on this site before, but I haven’t sat and watched the movie in a long time.
