Glenn Close was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her roles as Jenny Fields in 1982’s The World According to Garp, Sarah Cooper in 1983’s The Big Chill, and Iris in 1984’s The Natural. She has also been nominated for Best Actress Awards for Fatal Attraction and Dangerous Liaisons. Unfortunately, she did not win the award for any of her roles.

She also earned critical acclaim for her role as Sunny von Bülow in the 1990 film Reversal of Fortune. She also brought the iconic role of Cruella de Vil to life in the live action version of 101 Dalmatians. She was also great in the FX show The Shield. She was so good in that, that she now has her own show on FX called Damages.
