“(Just Like) Starting Over” makes me sad because it was John Lennon’s last song that was released while he was alive. It was released on October 24, 1980, and reached #1 in the UK and US 2 weeks after Lennon was murdered.
I believe that John Lennon would still be releasing great music today if he were still alive. This is a great song, and it breaks my heart whenever I hear it.
Mr. Lennon was hit-or-miss with me, but I liked that song. Good choice.
Mine is “My Heart Can’t Tell You No” by Rod Stewart.
It really hit home with me when it was released…but it’s so good I listen to it anyway.

That’s a good choice. When I was in Desert Shield, I bought tons of cassette tapes. They were 90 minute tapes that only cost $3. They had the greatest hits of every possible person you could think of, and some tapes that had various artists. For some reason, I bought one that had “Homesick” in the title, and this Rod Stewart one was on there.
